Meet 45-year-old Enoch Friday, a 47-time blood donor, whose journey as a blood donor began with a personal crisis and transformed into a lifelong mission.

Enoch donated blood for the first time in 2004 after his aunt got sick and was in need of blood. He later met a group of regular voluntary blood donors who acted as his anchor of inspiration to become a committed voluntary blood donor.

Every time Enoch donates blood, he walks away not just with a smile but pride, “I am always proud to know that my blood will save someone’s life”, Enoch says. He encourages people who are afraid of donating blood that it’s not painful; rather, it’s a powerful act for humanity.

Enoch’s story is a reminder that that one simple act of kindness can lead to many. Let’s become heroes in other people’s lives. Donate blood and save lives.
